    • Develop a consistent social media strategy for the FOX Soccer brand.

    • Promote informative content, broadcasts, matches, on-air talent and .com traffic.
    • Focus on growing coverage of EPL, UCL, MLS, Serie A, WPS and USMNT.
    • Become a social hub for soccer in America.

 

ACTION:

    • Developed a strategy for enabling social dialogue / humanizing the brand – while still focusing on objectives.
    • Integrating social media into the broadcast and vice versa.
    • Refresh the FOX Soccer twitter feeds, splitting them into:
      • @FOXSoccer – a news based and conversational platform.
      • @FOXSoccerTRAX – a real-time scores, and live match tracking platform.
    • Emphasize an interactive approach to tune-in goals. Games like #WhoWillScoreFirst provided an entertaining way for fans to engage with the match action and win prizes.

    • In less than two years, FOX Soccer’s Facebook grew to over 1 million fans with an equally impressive 12% total audience engagement rate.
    • In the same timeframe, FOX Soccer’s Twitter grew to over 200,000 followers.
